At Terra Soul Therapies, I don’t see people are not broken or in need of fixing. I see people who have adapted to life’s experiences in the best way they could.  This space is to explore those adaptions, understand what your mind, body and nervous system are communicating and discover new ways of responding  that align with who you are and how you want to live. 

Drawing on my background in nursing, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming Gestalt psychotherapy and Sensorimotor psychotherapy, I provided a grounded and supportive space where we explore the connection between your mind, body, and nervous system.  Together, we will uncover your strengths, depend your understanding of yourself, and create meaningful change that feels authentic and sustainable. 

A space where you don’t have to minimise your experiences, explain away your feelings, or hold everything together for everyone else. A space where your thoughts, emotions and experiences matter.

Anxiety and stress are your nervous systems way of communicating that something needs your attention - they are not a sign that you are broken.  Together, we will explore what’s your mind and body are responding to, understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and build on your strengths so you can respond in ways that align with you and your values, beliefs, wants and desires.

 Trauma & PTSD

Trauma can change the way your nervous system responds long after the event has passsed.  Together, we will work to understand those responses, reconnect with your body’s strengths, and gently build a greater sense of safety, choice, and control.  Healing isn’t about forgetting what happened, its about helping your nervous system learn that its no longer has to survive the past.

Life Transitions & Change

Change is a natural part of life, and it can bring uncertainty, stress and a sense of losing your footing,  Whether your’re navigating a new career, relationship, parenthood, retirement, illness or another life transition, we’ll work together to understand what this change means for you, build on your strengths, and help you move forward with great confidence and clarity and excitement.

Depression & Self-Esteem Issues

Depression and self-esteem issues change the way you see yourself, others and the world around you.  Rather than viewing these expereinces as personal flaws, we’ll approach them as meaningful signals that something in your mind, body, or nervous system needs attentional. From there, we will identify your strengths, deepen your understanding of yourself, and support lasting change that is authentic and sustainable for you.

Hi, I’m a Gestalt Psychotherapist, Registered Nurse, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy practitioner and mother of three. With over 25 years of healthcare experience, I provide trauma-informed, neuro-affirming therapy for anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, ADHD, autism, relationship challenges, grief and life transitions. My approach is warm, practical and grounded in the belief that people are not broken. Together, we work to build awareness, resilience and meaningful change.
