We all have a story. A quiet voice narrating who we are, what we deserve, and how the world works. For a long time, mine said: Be good. Don’t take up too much space. Keep it together. You’re only valuable if you’re helpful and on it went…

This story shaped how I moved through the world — cautious, self-sacrificing, hyper-aware of others but disconnected from myself. It felt safe. Familiar. But it also kept me small. Exhausted. Unfulfilled.

I knew this wasn’t how I wanted to live. I knew this wasn’t me. So I started investigating. Slowly, gently, I began to notice the beliefs I’d absorbed, the patterns I was stuck in, the parts of me I’d quieted to stay safe.

And I started asking: What if the story isn’t true for me? What if I’m allowed to want more? To rest?  To take up space?  To be different?  To be authentic?  To be me?

That question cracked something open. And I’ve been rewriting ever since.

My new story isn’t perfect. It’s messy, evolving, more aligned with who I really am. It makes room for my needs, my voice, my aliveness, my energy, myself.

If you’re craving more peace, more honesty, more connection with yourself — you have the power to begin again. You can shift the story. You can try out new ways of being. You can become more you.

What story are you telling yourself — and is it still serving you?

Do you want to change it?

Do you want to experiment with something new?

Start there. Let that question guide you.
